Nation's Challengers
Last week was a very intense week. Staring with the fact that my beloved grandmother passed away, to having to deal with oposition from many fronts, being able to sleep for a couple of hours only on a few nights, and working hard on the church building to be ready for the event that we had on saturday Oct, 9th. called Nation's Challengers.
On that Saturday afternoon, I was exhausted. When I was getting ready, I prayed that God will give me new strenght, and that He will take control of everything, we want Him to move and manifest, to come and heal, touch, free and minister to every heart in the audience, that were to come from several churches in town. And so He did.
When I rushed back to church, people starting to fill it, we started the service and the sitting places were almost full, so I instructed the staff to pull out of the classrooms any available chair and put it in place, Worship started to fill the place and the voices of the youth started to fill the atmosphere in a cry to be heard by the almighty.
After 30 minutes the youth kept pouring into the building and we had to tell the boys to give up their seat so that the girls will have one. 3 different bands participated, Casa de Alabanza (House of Worship) did an awesome job on opening the heavens with prophetic worship, then Mies Band, a group of students from one of the mayor universities in town put the crowd to dance before the Lord, this band has services on campus every friday from 10 am to 3 pm and they sing and chare the word every hour, inviting their fellow students to join them, talking about being an agent of change!
I perceived such hunger in this crowd to keep on worshiping that i had to ask our following band to come in, this are or friends from Zona Vertical (Vertical Zone) a P&W Band that is very used to worship the Lord in the Spirit, and they brought us into the throne room with such fragant worship.
They asked the youth at the end to get together with at least one person next to them and start praying for them, while the music was on, I grabbed the mic and the prophetic voice starting to flow, as a lot of the youth were being touched by God! What a sight, we were able to feel the manifested presence of God in the room, just unveliable.
After a while, I asked everybody to accomodate on a seat, and we ended up having all of the chairs full, and had a lot of the guys sitting on the flor all around the building, not a big surprise considering we had almost 300 of them there!
So the preaching started, I felt like I was just repeating what I was being told, such a fluent word, that was filling my heart as i was speaking, God reminding us of our place in the kingdom, telling us not to let the enemy decieve us making us think we are noth worth the effort, and inviting us to take the place and work in the kingdom. I could see some of them with tears in their eyes, God was touching them and healing them, what an honor place the Lord gave me to be able to stand in front of such a crowd, such an army and be able to see what I saw.
The night was a success that marked all of our lives, I even prayed for the equipment before we started because thats one of the things we are used to have problems with on the events, but the enemy was not able to tamper with it this time.
Pray that God will continue giving us the instructions that we need as we started the proccess to get a piece of land to build our new Worship center among some other things. Be blessed!
